Q.    What type of property do you specialise in?

A.    Any type of overseas rural property. It is not necessary to have land with it. It should be a country or equestrian property, farm, smallholding, woodland, land, barn conversion, holiday cottage or similar.

Q.    Who can advertise?

A.    Anyone who is advertising a property privately, estate agents or businesses.

Q.    What are my chances of success?

A.    The feedback we are getting from people is terrific. 

Q.    How long does it take for adverts to appear?

A.     It varies, could be 24hrs but at times it may take a few days. We post them as quickly as we can.

Q.    Will the advert appear exactly as the information submitted on the form?

A.    Not always. We are keen to maintain the quality of adverts and may correct obvious errors. Please check the advert as posted and let us know if you want any changes making.

Q.    How long will adverts be retained?

A.    Around 12 months unless you advise us to remove them earlier. We do retain some for a longer period at our discretion.

Q.    If I want some help to advertise or handle my sale or rental can you provide this?

A.    In most cases yes. When you fill in the forms there are opportunities to identify the help you might want. Alternatively call us on +44 (0)1462 674853 and discuss your needs. If you want to appoint us (Farm and Country Ltd) to handle your sale we can do this. Our sales commission in the UK is 0.4%. We are members of the Ombudsman for Estate Agents Scheme for residential sales.

Q.    Can I add photos to my advert?

A.     Yes. Just e-mail them to info@farmandcountry.net

Q.    How do I modify or delete my advert?

A.    Send an e-mail with your request to info@farmandcountry.net

Q.    If I place an advert will I be contacted by anyone trying to sell me something?

A.    Not by us. If you don't want to advertise your own contact details we can take calls on your behalf as a paid additional service. Just call 01462 674853 or e-mail info@farmandcountry.net to discuss.
